“Holiness is the most attractive face of the Church.”
Pope Francis
Gaudete et exsultate, no. 9

Join us from June 17 to 25 for the 2018 Novena to St Josemaria Escriva.

In preparation for June 26th, the feast of St. Josemaria Escriva, the St. Josemaria Institute has prepared a novena reflecting on the topic of joy and its role in the life of holiness, especially in light of the Holy Father’s recent apostolic exhortation Gaudete et exsultate.

Each day of the novena includes excerpts for reflection from The Way and Gaudete et exsultate and the daily prayer for the intercession of St. Josemaria Escriva.

DAILY READINGS AND PRAYER (Available June 17th)

WHAT IS A NOVENA?

A novena is a private (or public) prayer repeated for nine consecutive days to ask God for answers to a specific request, struggle, or intention. The novena prayer is repeated each day and can be accompanied by reading and reflection. Novenas can be prayed throughout the year and are often prayed in preparation for a feast day of the Church.
