MONTH AT A GLANCE: DECEMBER 2022 In December, in MONTH AT A GLANCE: DECEMBER 2022 In December, in the company of Our Lady and St. Joseph, we continue to prepare our hearts and homes for the Nativity of Our Lord. In particular, we aim to "be still" and focus our attention on Christ through our prayer, contemplation, contrition, charity, hope and faith. St. Josemaria Escriva wrote that, "This time of Advent is a time for hope. These great horizons of our Christian vocation, this unity of life built on the presence of God our Father, can and ought to be a daily reality. Ask our Lady, along with me, to make it come true. Try to imagine how she spent these months, waiting for her Son to be born. And our Lady, Holy Mary, will make of you... another Christ, Christ himself!" (Christ is Passing By, no. 11) The Church celebrates many beautiful feasts of Our Lady this month to help us love her more and be ready to welcome her Son! We are truly grateful to be able to accompany you throughout the months and seasons. As we get ready to begin a New Year, please let us know how we're doing, what we could do better, and what would be helpful to you.
