JOURNEY TO THE MANGER | DAY 5 PSALM OF THE DAY JOURNEY TO THE MANGER | DAY 5
PSALM OF THE DAY
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good,
for his mercy endures forever.
It is better to take refuge in the LORD
than to trust in man.
It is better to take refuge in the LORD
than to trust in princes.
PAUSE + REFLECT
"'He chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy,' St Paul tells us.
I know that such thoughts don't fill you with pride nor lead you to think yourself better than other men. That choice, the root of our vocation, should be the basis of our humility."
St. Josemaria Escriva
Christ is Passing By, no. 1
🌟BOOK OF THE MONTH
This December, we’re reading “The Narrow Gate” by Fr. Federico Suárez: a profound meditation on the interior freedom, love, sacrifice, and fidelity required to walk the “narrow way,” reminding us that holiness is both a gift and a daily choice shaped.
