Happy feast day of the Archangels!

The Archangels-Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael-remind us of three important aspects of our Christian life: the courage to fight for God’s truth, the readiness to proclaim His message, and the loving care He provides along our journey.

“You tell me that in your breast you have fire and water, cold and heat, empty passions and God… Don’t worry: as long as you want to fight there are not two candles burning in your breast. There is only one: the Archangel’s.” -St. Josemaria Escriva (The Way, no. 724).

Today, we ask the intercession of St. Michael, St. Gabriel, and St. Raphael, trusting in their heavenly assistance to help us live with confidence in God’s loving presence.
