We often encounter the lives of the saints in fragments, through brief anecdotes or familiar quotes that inspire, but leave us wanting a deeper understanding. Who was this person, really? How did God work in the ordinary and hidden moments of their life?
In the podcast series, “Josemaría Escrivá: His Life in 5 Episodes,” we are invited to step more fully into the life of St. Josemaria Escriva and discover how God worked through him throughout his lifetime.
Produced by the team at the St. Josemaría Center of Studies in Pamplona, Spain, this five-part series offers a thoughtful and historically grounded look at his life and mission. Through engaging narration and careful research, each episode reveals not only the events of St. Josemaria’s life, but the deeper thread of God’s providence woven throughout.
Rather than offering a single overview, the series unfolds gradually and invites us to accompany St. Josemaria through key moments of his life. From his early years and vocation to the founding of Opus Dei and the challenges he faced along the way.

The St. Josemaria Institute was founded in 2006 to promote the life, teachings, and devotion to St. Josemaria Escriva among all men and women who desire to find meaning and happiness in their daily lives by growing closer to God. The St. Josemaria Institute produces and distributes digital and print media as a means to spread Christian values around the world and to help people navigate and live well in the digital age.
