PODCAST | Evangelizing The Grassroots

“When he was at table with them, he took the bread and blessed and broke it and gave it to them.  And their eyes were opened, and they recognized him. And he vanished from their sight.  They said to each other, ‘Did not our hearts burn within us while he talked to us on the road, while he opened to us the Scriptures?’ (Luke 24:30-32).”

As we journey with those whom the Lord chooses to place in our lives, Fr. Peter Armenio reminds us in this reflection that we can be the apostles of today evangelizing simply through how we live our daily lives. Then will not our companions also exclaim, “Were not our hearts burning?”  Our companions must see the truth in our conviction of how to live holy, joyful, saintly lives in the midst of the world.
