Welcome to August!
This month, we will celebrate the Transfiguration of the Lord, the Assumption of Our Lady, the feast of Our Lady of Torreciudad, and the Queenship of Mary!
These summer days also offer us the opportunity to slow down to spend time with loved ones and with Our Lord in reflection and prayer.
St. Josemaria reminds us that our rest can be sanctified when we live it with the desire to rest with our Lord:
“Strive never to lose this supernatural outlook, not even at times of rest or recreation, which are as important in our daily lives as is work itself” (Friends of God, no. 10).
