I want results.

We are careful about calorie counting, protein intake, omega supplements, as we try to increase one thing and decrease another. It’s easy to be obsessed with the process: we want to see the results, the fruits, of our discipline. Result seeking in the spiritual life, however, can be misplaced…

Abiding Presence: Christ our Eucharistic Refuge

The Lord does not remain with us in the Eucharist for His own sake, but to meet our deepest human needs for love and friendship: “Jesus, who has encouraged this feeling of emptiness in us, comes out to meet us” (Christ is Passing By, no. 170).

FIRST FRIDAY REFLECTION WITH ST. JOSEMARIA “The s FIRST FRIDAY REFLECTION WITH ST. JOSEMARIA
“The source of all grace is God’s love for us, and He has revealed this not just in words but also in deeds.” (Christ is Passing By, no. 162)
The Gospel reminds us, “God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.” (Romans 5:5)
Christ is always pursuing our hearts, always inviting us deeper. Christ came not only to reveal the Father’s love, but also to remain with us and draw us into that divine life every day. Jesus has not and will never be absent to us. See how far His love came to us and remains with us especially in the Holy Eucharist!
May you allow your heart to be pursued by Christ and ask Him to be with you in every moment of every day because He truly is always with you.
